3m x 4m

3m x 4m is first of all both a physical space with material properties and a representation of my camera’s aspect ratio. It is also both a space for a conceptual stage and a space, without form, for psychological testing. Though strategically arranged, there is still a clear presentation of form.

How can I, with a minimalistic setup of just a few props and characters, transform our perception of society into a concrete, physical symbol? How can I reconstruct the viewer’s extended situation upon the constructed plane of the imagination? How can I use the objects and scenes of daily life as a starting point for my experiments and reflections?

我们总是处于这样或者那样的空间中——有形的、无形的、拘束的、自由的等等，而人们对于空间这一概念有着各自不同的理解。我试图在一个限定的空间中，利用尽可能少的道具和模特来呈现我对当下社会的一种生活体验。

3M×4M构成的12平米，首先是物性的实体空间，同时也是观念性的舞台空间和心理测试的无形空间。在这里,摆拍手法虽是策略，亦是形式可见的表象。如何将自我的心理社会感知转换成具体的物性符号,如何在想象力构建的平面上重塑观者延展的情境,如何利用日常生活中简单的场景和物品传达我的实验性思考，构成了本次作品设计的起点。
